from inside my head

For the past few days, mako and i have been going out (not romantically - just to make it clear) and just hanging out in places.. where people go to hang out - mainly the starbucks in abs (that's where car works part-time). we have been searching and longing for a different kind of company. he.

i love spending my time with my friends. i love my friends. but when you're in a crowd with the same preferences as you.. it's refreshing! this is not coming from someone who has a hidden agenda, there are just times that i crave for those crowds. the ambiance is different, the way the crowd moves is different. the understanding, the belongingness.

it wasn't a success though, our hanging out. we ended up drinking coffee and hot chocolates - with a 20% discount, mind you - while trying to turn my gaydar on. apparently, i have none. that was how uneventful our hanging out was.
