French proverb

"For one pleasure a thousand pains."

i read this somewhere, i dont remember where and how i managed to stumble upon it but i found it resonating in my head.even after days of having seen it.

truth is, i can't testify to that.i can't contradict it either.ive never had any experience i can remotely relate to that.and if i had, i certainly wont put it here.

i dont really know why this proverb keeps popping out of my head when i have trouble remembering something i tried awfully hard to memorize.

i just wanted to put it here.weird, 'cause its bothering me.

maybe its a life-saving proverb?haha.what a stupid thought...this is definitely a sign...
