dala ng stress sa finals and lack of sleep

nagpapanic na ako a few minutes ago kasi hindi ko talaga mabuksan email ko. as in paulit-ulit ko na tlga sya sinusubukan pero ayaw pa rin. ung password, mali daw.

ginawa ko, irreset ko sana. pro kelangan ko daw sagutin ung secret question. at dahil nalimutan ko na ang laman ng memory chapter ng cog and gen psy book, hindi ko sya maalala. hindi pala pwedeng basta-basta nlng mgreset.

kaya naisip ko wala na akong choice. kelangan ko na gumawa ng bagong account. pro ayoko. kontento na kasi ako sa account ko na un. masaya ako dun.

dahil dyan, imbis na mg-aral ng expe, sinubukan kong hanapan ng paraan. at naisip ko, na kahit anong mangyari, hahanapan ko un ng solusyon. hindi kasi ako bumibitaw nlng ng ganun ganun lang.

Loyola Heights -- Simula Oktubre ng taong ito, ipagbabawal na ang pag-utot sa mga Paaralang Loyola, ayon sa isang mapagkakatiwalaang source ng Akosiyol Tonite. "Ang pag-utot ay isang malinaw na paglabag sa Clean Air Act at sa karapatan ng bawat Atenista na makalanghap ng sariwang hangin," dagdag pa ng source, na ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan.

Kaugnay nito, kumuha ng karagdagang mga security guard ang administrasyon ng Ateneo upang rumonda at manghuli ng mga umuutot. Karamihan sa kanila ay itatalaga sa mga comfort room, kung saan inaasahang maraming lalabag. Mayroon ring itatalaga sa cafeteria at Manang's, kung saan pinakamabigat ang parusang ipapataw sa sinumang uutot. "Hindi naman ako pumupunta sa mga CR para umamoy ng utot dati, pero natutuwa ako na kapag pumunta ako sa CR ngayon, may mga guwardiyang nagbabantay para proteksiyunan ako sa mabahong amoy," aniya. Ganito rin ang opinyon ni Onemig (hindi tunay na pangalan), estudyante ng School of Science and Engineering. Sa kaugnay na balita, pinag-uusapan rin kung ipagbabawal sa Ateneo ang pagsusuot ng maikling palda para hindi makita ang panty. Hindi pa man naihahain ang pormal na mga patakaran, may mga nagpahayag nang hindi na sila magsusuot ng panty para hindi na ito makita ninuman.

tama na ang paghirit ng 388-488. smaller student-teacher ratios, better facilities and all doesn't equate to good, quality education. those statistics are not enough to use as basis for which is the better university. both lasalle and ateneo are good schools. period.

plus, it's not that we can't take a joke. it's just that jokes aren't supposed to be offensive and insulting. jokes are okay as long as they still show respect.

people are posting comments, hindi dahil pikon sila. it's because those jokes insulted our players and some comments insulted our alma mater. konting respeto lang. for the people whose names were in the pictures and for the school.

'Coz I would just like to make sure they are not from some med school in the Philippines."

Dear Kababayan and Allies:

I heard through the grapevine about a remark made on an episode of "Desperate Housewives" last night. The scene entailed Teri Hatcher's character (Susan) at a hospital, being told by her gynecologist that she might be hitting menopause. Susan replied, "Can I just check those diplomas because I just want to make sure that they are not from some med school in the Philippines." If you go to abc.com, you watch the full episode and witness the scene at about 18:50 minutes into the episode.

This type of derogatory remark is not only unnecessary and hurtful, but is also unfounded, considering the presence of Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the health care industry. Filipinos are the second largest immigrant population in the United States, with many entering the U.S. and passing their U.S. licensing boards as doctors, nurses, and medical technicians. In fact, the Philippines produces more U.S. nurses than any other country in the world. So, to belittle the education, experience, or value of Filipino Americans in health care is disrespectful and plain and simply ignorant.

As Filipino Americans, we need to band together to ensure that this type of hateful message is not allowed to continue on our television and radio airwaves. Given the recent amounts of media attention that has been given to Michael Richards (against African Americans), Isaiah Washington (against gays), and Rosie O'Donnell (against Asian/ Chinese Americans), it is ridiculous that this type of hateful speech made it through various screenwriters, the show's producers, the show's actors, and ABC itself. Yet, this isn't the first time that negative remarks have been made about the Philippines or Filipinos in the past. In recent years, we've heard one too many "dogeater" comments by "comedian" Joan Rivers on the red carpet or in her standup act, and I believe that it is about time that we stand up for ourselves, so that this type of hateful speech never happens again.
